Elected Officials
De Queen has a
mayor-council form of government. Mayor Billy Ray McKelvy serves a four-year
term and the six city council members elected from the city's three
wards serve two-year terms.
The De Queen City Council
meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the
city hall conference room. Anyone who wishes to be placed on the
agenda should contact City Clerk Donna Jones two weeks prior to the
city council meeting.
