The City of De Queen Parks & Recreation Department is located at 613 E Haes Ave. De Queen, AR 71832 across from the Herman Dierks Memorial Park. De Queen City Pool​

The De Queen City Pool is located at 405 N Lakeside Dr. De Queen, AR. 71832. City Pool features include a 50’x 85’ Main pool area, 4 swimming lanes, and a 12’ x 12’ Kiddie pool area with 1’ wading pool. For more information, call 870-642-5512. General Admission: $4

Season Pass: $50

Family of 4 or more: $200

SENIOR/ADULT SWIM

Monday – Friday: 8:45 AM – 9:45 AM; FREE Admission**
**Adults and Seniors may swim free ONLY during this time. NO Children will be allowed in the pool at this time.

SWIM LESSONS

Mondays – Thursday; $40/week/child

Schedule to be announced when pool opens for season.

DE QUEEN DOLPHIN SWIM TEAM

Younger Swimmers: Monday – Thursday: 8 PM – 9 PM
Older swimmers: Monday – Thursday: 9 PM – 10 PM

POOL PARTIES

To schedule or pay for a party, call 870-642-4140 or come by the Park Office, located at 613 E. Haes Street.

Parties must be 2 hours long at minimum and 6 hours at maximum.

De Queen Sportsplex​

 

The City of De Queen’s Sportsplex received the “2002 Best Facility Award” from the Arkansas Recreation and Parks Association. The Sportsplex is located at Hwy 70 West & Home Run Drive in De Queen. Features of the Sportsplex include:

  • Two 200’ Youth Baseball and Softball Fields with boys batting cages

  • One 250’ Softball Field with girls batting cages

  • One 325’ Boys Majors Baseball Field

  • Quarter-mile asphalt paved and lighted walking trail

  • One-mile crusher fine walking trail

  • Playground equipment for 7-14 year olds - including toddlers' unit also

  • One 30’x70’ Pavilion and two 16’x16’ Pavilions for public use & rental with restrooms

  • Full concession stand for year-round usage

RESERVATIONS

The fee to reserve the pavilion for private parties is $25. It is otherwise open to the public.

City of De Queen Downtown Pavilion​

 

The City of De Queen’s Downtown Pavilion is a new facility located at 124 W Dequeen Ave. next to City Hall at the site of the previous historic Ennis Plumbing building. The pavilion is designed with a train depot aesthetic and bricks from the previous structure have been incorporated into the new facility's pillars. The pavilion is still under construction, but key features of the facility will include:

  • FREE WiFi

  • FREE Electricity

  • Restrooms

  • Future home of the Sevier County Farmer's Market

RESERVATIONS

Reservations are not available for this facility. The Downtown Pavilion will be open to the public.

Dowtown Pavilion
Herman Dierks Memorial Park

 

The Herman Dierks Memorial Park is located at 613 East Hayes & Hwy. 71 South in De Queen. The park features:

 

  • 200-ft. little league baseball and softball field

  • 195 x 360 ft. official soccer field

  • 30 x 70 pavilion for parties and reunions

  • Picnic areas throughout the park

  • Two outdoor basketball courts

  • Assorted playground equipment

  • Quarter-mile lit walking trail with benches (concrete walking area)

  • Two full tennis courts available for public use with lights

  • Pickleball courts

  • Disc golf course

  • Current home of the Sevier County Farmer's Market

 

Herman Dierks Community Building

The Herman Dierks Community Building is available for private rentals. The facility must be rented and paid for in advance. To rent the community building, contact our Parks Office at 870-642-4140. Features:

  • Building dimensions: 40’x80’

  • 8 double folding tables and 100 folding chairs

  • Kitchen area with stove and refrigerator

  • De Queen Municipal Swimming Pool

RESERVATIONS

The fee to reserve the Community Building for private parties is $200. Contact the Parks Office to inquire about reserving the facility for reunions or meetings. The facility must be rented and paid for in advance.

City of De Queen Splash Pad

 

The City of De Queen Splash Pad is located at 405 N Lakeside Dr./Hwy 70 next to the City Pool. The Splash Pad, generously funded by Pilgrim's Pride, features an all-inclusive selection of water features for children of all ages. Restrooms are available on-site as well.

​RESERVATIONS

Reservations are not available for this facility. The Splash Pad is open to the public during summer hours consistent with the City Pool schedule.
